The official rules of the game are pretty close to the way we play in our league. The only thing we don't exactly follow is the correct serving. Never the less, serving is a very important to know how to do correctly if in a official tournament of sorts. Starting the game you volley to see who serves first. You volley by tossing the ball over the net assembly and start play as any other point. Whoever wins the volley gets to serve first but are awarded no point for the volley. You serve every other two serves and switch no matter who scores. You go to eleven, win by two. Important notes so you don't get screwed out of your point are: If your opponent hits the ball before it hits the table, its your point. If the ball doesn't touch the table and is going off but you hit it anyway, its your point. Your opponent and you need to make a valid play which basically means hits the table. If the ball hits the net and goes over after the serve it is a valid play. If you serve, hit the net, and the ball goes over, it is a redo. You can have as many redos as you want. But if you serve and hit the net but doesn't go over it is your opponents point. Any questions or anything you want me to add call my number. (507)-696-1258
